In a grey town, young William awakens to find the tree outside his window transformed into a magnificent owl. Each night, more trees are sculpted into stunning topiaries, bringing colour and life to the community. William discovers the mysterious Night Gardener behind these creations and joins him, learning the joy of creativity and the beauty of nature. Though the Night Gardener eventually disappears, the town—and William—are forever changed by his enchanting work.
About the author
Terry Fan is an illustrator and author who loves creating magical and imaginative stories. He often works with his brother Eric Fan, and together they made the popular picture book 'The Night Gardener'. Terry's artwork is full of wonderful details, and he enjoys inspiring children to dream big through his beautiful drawings and exciting stories.
