Perched atop the Crumpetty Tree, the Quangle Wangle Quee hides beneath a colossal hat, feeling lonely. His solitude ends when a parade of whimsical creatures—including Mr. and Mrs. Canary, the Stork, the Duck, the Owl, and the Pobble who has no toes—request to build their homes on his expansive hat.
