Synopsis
In this enchanting Chinese folk tale, Yeh Hsien, a kind-hearted girl, befriends a magical golden-eyed fish. When her cruel stepmother kills the fish, Yeh Hsien discovers its bones possess the power to grant wishes. With their help, she attends the grand Cave Festival in splendid attire, but must flee when recognised, leaving behind a precious slipper. The king, captivated by the slipper's owner, embarks on a quest to find and marry her, leading to a tale of magic, transformation, and destiny.
