What is Mermaid Mia and the Royal Visit about?
Mermaid Mia, the school newspaper's writer, faces a dilemma when she lacks news to report. In desperation, she fabricates a story about Queen Marina visiting Starfish Academy. The rumour spreads rapidly, leading Mia to regret her falsehood. Overwhelmed, she confesses to her friends, who, while disappointed, support her in writing an apology to the queen. Will Queen Marina forgive Mia and visit the school? This beautifully illustrated tale teaches children the importance of honesty.
