Moomintroll discovers a gleaming pebble, which Snorkmaiden believes to be a fallen star. Excited by the prospect of making a wish, they find themselves unable to decide what to wish for. As they deliberate, the star's brilliance begins to fade, leading them to realise the true value of friendship and the wonders of the world around them.

Tove Jansson was a wonderful author and artist from Finland. She is best known for creating the magical world of the Moomins, a family of friendly, adventurous creatures who live in Moominvalley.
