The Little Red Hen finds some grains of wheat and decides to make bread. She asks her friends—a cat, a rat, and a duck—for help at each stage: planting, harvesting, grinding, and baking. Each time, they refuse. When the bread is ready, they all want to eat it, but the Little Red Hen decides to enjoy it herself, teaching a valuable lesson about hard work and cooperation.
