Sam, a river rat, dreams of sailing the sea. Despite his neighbours' warnings about sharks and neglecting his garden, Sam builds a boat and embarks on his voyage. While his neighbours assume the worst, Sam joyfully sails the wild green waves, sending a note back home: 'Dear friends, please do not worry, I am happy. Love, Sam.'
