What is The No. 1 Car Spotter Goes to School about?

Oluwalase Babatunde Benson, known as No. 1, is the best car spotter in his village—perhaps even the world! When American visitors arrive, No. 1 teaches them about goats and shares his dream of attending school. As he begins his education, he finds less time for his beloved grandfather, who has invaluable lessons to impart. Balancing school and family, No. 1 embarks on a journey of learning both in and out of the classroom.
