What is The Tale of Mr. Jeremy Fisher about?

Mr. Jeremy Fisher, an optimistic frog, embarks on a fishing trip from his lily-pad boat, hoping to catch minnows for a dinner with friends. Despite his enthusiasm, he faces numerous challenges: a water beetle nips his toe, a stickleback pricks his fingers, and a large trout nearly swallows him whole. After these misadventures, Jeremy decides to abandon fishing and returns home, where he hosts a meal for his friends, serving a roasted grasshopper with ladybird sauce.
