In 1666 London, young John sneaks a candle into his attic bedroom for comfort. He falls asleep with the candle burning on the windowsill. Upon waking, he discovers the city engulfed in flames, and his candle missing. Fearing he might have caused the Great Fire, John embarks on a journey through the blazing city, seeking answers and redemption.
