When Goose goes on holiday, she leaves Duck in charge of the pond. Eager to do a good job, Duck becomes overly strict, banning activities like splashing, fishing, and racing. His friends grow frustrated and leave for a nearby meadow. Realising his mistake, Duck removes the signs and invites everyone back, learning that being too bossy drives friends away.
