The Wonky Gonks is a bright, bouncy tale with plenty of silly trollish charm and a reassuring message about caring for nature and treating others kindly. Giddy’s magical mishaps give younger children plenty to giggle at, while grown-ups may appreciate the gentle reminder that even very old gonks still have rules to follow. Best suited to shared reading with pre-school and early-years children.
