Orphaned and destitute, Ettie Shaw roams the streets of Victorian London until she reunites with her brother, Joe, who has joined Fagin's notorious pickpocket gang. Disguised as a boy, Ettie enters Fagin's den, initially assisting with domestic tasks. However, when a gang member falls ill, Fagin insists Ettie join Joe in pickpocketing, leading to dire consequences.
