What is The Bike Ride about?

Dave and his dad cherish their daily summer bike rides along the beach, delighting in the singing blue jays and scampering squirrels. Their favourite spot is a serene inlet overlooking the ocean. One day, they discover a bulldozer clearing the land, threatening the animals' habitat. Concerned, Dave wonders about the fate of the creatures. Upon returning the next summer, they meet Annie, the new resident, who is planting trees to attract wildlife. Together, they build a bird feeder, fostering a new friendship and hope for the environment.
