At the edge of the forest lives a grumpy mouse, known for being the grumpiest and grouchiest around. One day, he discovers a little badger who has lost her mummy and is in need of help. As they search together, the mouse's heart begins to soften, leading to an unexpected friendship and the realisation that helping others can bring happiness.

He is well known for his funny and heart-warming stories, such as 'Bear's Big Bottom' and 'Poo in the Zoo'. Steve enjoys making children laugh with his imaginative tales and colourful pictures.
