Dora travels to America to assist in establishing a sanctuary for horses. Delighted to receive a horse as a gift to bring back to Follyfoot, she returns home. However, upon arrival, one of the horses falls ill with symptoms resembling a severe epidemic sweeping America. Dora fears that her new horse may have introduced the disease to England, posing a significant threat to the local equine community.
