Synopsis

Julius Caesar has written his account of the Gallic Wars, omitting the chapter on his defeats by the indomitable Gauls of Armorica. His publisher, Libellus Blockbustus, advises this to maintain Caesar's image. However, a scribe named Bigdhata steals the missing chapter and gives it to the journalist Confoundtheirpolitix, who brings it to Asterix's village. The Gauls embark on a mission to ensure the truth is preserved and passed down through generations.
