Synopsis

What-a-Mess, a scruffy Afghan Hound puppy, dreams of a little sister for Christmas. To earn this, he decides to perform a good deed on Christmas Eve. After completing his task, he mistakes the mischievous cat next door for his reward. Their ensuing misadventures lead him to reconsider his wish, opting instead for a tin of toffees.

Frank Muir was a well-known British writer and broadcaster who loved making people laugh. He wrote funny stories and scripts for radio and television, and is famous for co-writing the 'What-a-Mess' books about a lovable, muddled-up Afghan puppy. Frank enjoyed sharing jokes and entertaining audiences of all ages with his clever humour.
