Synopsis
Chester, a pig with dreams beyond the farm, yearns to become a circus star. He teaches himself tricks and escapes to join the big top. However, his journey is fraught with challenges, including a frightening encounter with a bear and exploitation by the circus. Eventually, Chester returns to the farm, where an unexpected discovery about his appearance leads to the fame he always desired.
About the author
Bill Peet was a wonderful storyteller and illustrator from America. He worked for many years at Disney, helping to create famous films like 'The Jungle Book' and '101 Dalmatians'. Bill also wrote and drew his own imaginative books, including favourites like 'The Wump World' and 'Capyboppy', which have delighted children for generations.
