Synopsis

A father meticulously maintains his treeless lawn, while his children find joy in the neighbouring woods. As the children grow up and leave, the father continues his battle against encroaching saplings. Eventually, he too departs, leaving the house abandoned. Over time, nature reclaims the land, with trees growing around and eventually lifting the house, symbolising the enduring power of the natural world.
