Lucky, Pru, and Abigail are preparing to leave for Palomino Bluffs Riding Academy. Before they go, they aim to become Frontier Fillies Trail Trainers by training a new horse. They choose Sandy, a spirited miniature horse, but face unexpected challenges as Sandy resists their efforts. With the Founders' Day Parade approaching, the girls, along with their friend Caroline, must find a way to connect with Sandy and help her shine before time runs out.
