Synopsis

In this retelling of the classic fairy tale, siblings Hansel and Gretel are abandoned in the forest by their impoverished parents. Lost and hungry, they discover a house made entirely of sweets, inhabited by a seemingly kind old woman. However, the woman is a wicked witch who plans to eat them. Using their wits and courage, Hansel and Gretel outsmart the witch, escape her clutches, and find their way back home, reuniting with their father.
