Tanner and Gwen embark on a perilous quest to prevent Derthsin's evil army from conquering Avantia. After securing the first piece and rescuing Gwen's twin brother, Geffen, they awaken to find him missing, along with the mask fragment. Their pursuit leads them to a devastated village and a mysterious warrior whose true nature is uncertain.
