Synopsis
The Little Red Hen discovers some grains of wheat and decides to make bread. She asks her friends—the cat, the rat, and the duck—for help at each stage: planting, harvesting, milling, and baking. Each time, they refuse. When the bread is ready, they all want to eat it, but the Little Red Hen decides to enjoy it herself, teaching them the value of hard work and cooperation.
