Lulu, an animal enthusiast, is dismayed when her teacher, Mrs Holiday, bans pets from school. During a class trip to the park, Lulu discovers a duck egg displaced from its nest. Believing it's not breaking the rules, she secretly brings the egg to school to keep it safe. As the egg begins to hatch, Lulu faces the challenge of caring for the duckling without getting caught.
