What is Howard the Average Gecko about?

Howard the gecko believes he's the most exceptional creature in the rainforest due to his remarkable camouflage. However, upon discovering that many other animals share this ability, he feels disheartened and questions his uniqueness. Through meeting Dolores, another gecko, Howard learns that being 'average' doesn't diminish one's worth and that true friends appreciate you just as you are.

Wendy Meddour is a British author and illustrator who loves writing funny and heartwarming stories for children. She is best known for her popular 'Wendy Quill' series and the picture book 'Lubna and Pebble'. Wendy enjoys making up imaginative tales that inspire children to be brave, kind, and creative.
