What is Nightrise about?

Fourteen-year-old twins Jamie and Scott Tyler perform a mind-reading act in a Reno theatre. When the sinister Nightrise Corporation kidnaps Scott, Jamie is left alone and falsely accused of murder. Determined to rescue his brother, Jamie uncovers a dark conspiracy, becomes entangled in a corrupt presidential campaign, and is thrust back ten thousand years to witness the creation of Raven's Gate and the first battle against the Old Ones.
