What is The King Who Banned the Dark about?
A young prince, terrified of the dark, becomes king and decrees a ban on darkness, installing an artificial sun and enforcing 'anti-dark' laws. Initially, the citizens rejoice, relieved of their fears. However, as sleeplessness spreads and exhaustion sets in, unrest grows. The people begin to question the perpetual light and the king's decree. This tale explores the balance between light and dark, and the importance of facing one's fears.
