What is Owl in the House about?

During a wild, stormy night, an owl is blown down a chimney and lands inside a dark, unfamiliar house. Desperate to find his way out, he asks the gerbil, the dog and a little girl for help, but none of them knows what to do. Just when the owl begins to lose hope, the house cat appears. Can this unexpected helper guide him back outside and into the night?
