What is A Pipkin of Pepper about?

Cat, Squirrel and Duck are making their delicious pumpkin soup, but there is one important ingredient missing: salt. When the salt jar breaks, the friends set off for the city to buy some more. Duck promises not to wander away, yet the busy streets soon prove difficult to navigate. As Cat and Squirrel search for their missing friend, Duck discovers that getting lost can be frightening. With friendship, teamwork and a little luck, the three friends find their way home.
