What is Lightlark about?

Every hundred years, the mysterious island of Lightlark appears for the Centennial, a deadly contest where six rulers compete to break their realms’ ancient curses. Isla Crown, ruler of the Wildlings, must conceal her identity and her dangerous curse: anyone she loves is doomed to die. As alliances shift and romance complicates the game, Isla must decide whom to trust. To save her people, she may need to lie, betray, and risk everything before the final curse claims its victim.
