What is Be Careful, Barney about?
Barney the fox loves adventure, but he never listens when his mummy says, “Be careful!” He rides his bike dangerously, hangs by his tail and pretends to fly. During a school trip, Barney ignores the rules near a river and is swept away. Luckily, his friend Trevor rescues him. Shaken by what happened and worried about his mummy, Barney begins to understand that being safe does not mean missing out. Soon he discovers plenty of exciting ways to have fun without taking silly risks.
