What is The Prophet of Yonwood about?
Nickie has moved to Yonwood to stay with her great-grandfather while her father works on a secret government project. Soon, a local woman’s frightening visions of fire and destruction spread fear through the town, turning neighbours against one another. As Nickie investigates mysterious journals, watches a solitary stargazer and befriends a boy fascinated by snakes, she begins to question what people believe. With war seeming ever closer, Nickie must discover whether Yonwood’s future can still be changed.
