What is The Bear in the Cave about?

At home by the sea, a cheerful bear enjoys singing, splashing and playing beside his cave. But one day, the distant sounds of the city make him curious. He buys a ticket, boards a train and sets off on an exciting adventure. The busy streets are full of fascinating sights and sounds, yet city life soon becomes noisy and overwhelming. Will the bear find his way back to the peaceful seaside home he loves?

About the author

Michael Rosen is a much-loved British author and poet. He is famous for writing funny and imaginative books for children, including the classic story 'We're Going on a Bear Hunt'. Michael enjoys performing his poems and stories, and he loves to make children laugh and think with his playful use of words.
