What is Grandad's Bench about?

Jake loves spending time in Grandad’s workshop, learning how to work with wood. One autumn day, Grandad shows him the tree he planted as a boy, but while Jake is buying ice-creams, Grandad dies. Jake misses him through the long winter. Then, with Mum’s help, he uses Grandad’s tools to make a special plaque for the bench beneath the tree. As spring arrives, Jake remembers Grandad with love and begins to feel happy again.
