What is 1, 2, 3 A Walk in the Countryside about?

Two young friends set off with their dog for an autumn walk in the countryside. As they cross a stile, follow the river and explore the woods, they discover plenty to count, from falling leaves and busy squirrels to rabbits, blackberries and geese flying overhead. With numbers from one to 100, the gentle journey encourages children to notice the changing natural world and join in with the counting before the friends return home beneath a sky full of stars.

Rosalind Beardshaw is a talented British illustrator and author who loves bringing stories to life with her colourful artwork. She has illustrated many popular books for children, including the much-loved 'Lulu' series. Rosalind enjoys drawing animals and nature, and her cheerful pictures help make reading fun for everyone.
