What is The Birth of Jesus about?
Mary receives astonishing news from an angel: she will have a special baby, God’s Son. Soon afterwards, Mary and Joseph must make a long journey to Bethlehem because the Roman emperor has ordered a census. With no room at the inn, they find shelter in a stable, where Jesus is born and laid in a manger. Shepherds hear the joyful news, angels sing in the sky, and visitors come to see the baby promised by God.
