What is Max and Bird about?
Max is a kitten who likes chasing birds, and he thinks Bird would make a tasty snack. But Bird has other ideas: he wants to be friends. Max and Bird make a deal and set off to learn how to fly. Their attempts involve plenty of energetic flapping, visits to the library and some very funny failures. As they practise together, Max discovers that friendship may be more rewarding than following his instincts—and Bird discovers that learning something new is easier with a friend.
