What is Poo in the Zoo about?

Bob McGrew loves looking after the animals at the zoo, but he does not enjoy scooping up their poo. Then a mysterious, glowing green poo appears, and everyone wants to know where it came from. Could it be alien poo? Soon, visitors flock to see the strange specimen, while a famous poo collector hopes to add it to his unusual collection. With cheeky rhymes, lively illustrations and plenty of silly surprises, Bob’s smelly job becomes an extraordinary zoo adventure.

About the author

Steve Smallman is a much-loved British author and illustrator who has written over 100 books for children. He is well known for his funny and heart-warming stories, such as 'Bear's Big Bottom' and 'Poo in the Zoo'. Steve enjoys making children laugh with his imaginative tales and colourful pictures.
