What is Dexter Bexley and the Big Blue Beastie about?

Dexter Bexley is scooting along when he crashes into a huge blue Beastie with a very large appetite. Instead of becoming lunch, Dexter uses his quick thinking to suggest one exciting idea after another. They deliver flowers, investigate mysteries and create a wonderfully sticky feast of yoghurt, fudge, bananas and ice cream. Before long, the hungry Beastie is having far too much fun to eat Dexter. But when Dexter’s ideas finally run out, can their new friendship survive?
