Patsy Scarry was a much-loved writer of children’s books. She created cheerful stories about families, animals and everyday adventures, helping young readers enjoy the magic of books. Some of her best-known works include Good Night, Little Bear, The Bunny Book and The Sweet Smell of Christmas. Several of her stories were brought to life with colourful pictures by her husband, the famous illustrator Richard Scarry. Her warm, playful books continue to entertain children and make lovely bedtime reading.
