What is Hue Boy about?
Hue Boy is the smallest boy in his Caribbean island village, and everyone has an idea about how to make him grow. Mama feeds him hearty meals, Gran gives him oversized clothes, and neighbours recommend exercises, medicine and even a special herbal remedy. Still, Hue Boy remains small, and he begins to worry that something is wrong. When his father finally returns from working at sea, Hue Boy discovers that love, pride and happiness can help him stand tall in his own way.
