What is Dancing Maddy about?

Maddy loves dancing, but during a rehearsal she loses her balance and feels terribly embarrassed. Now she never wants to dance again, especially in front of everyone at the school show. With gentle encouragement from her wise friend Pomeroy, Maddy slowly begins to believe in herself once more. As her confidence returns, she discovers the joy of dancing again—and finds a beautiful dress that makes her feel like a princess when the big day arrives.
