About the author
Pat Edwards was a writer and teacher from New Zealand who created many books to help children enjoy reading. She wrote stories, poems and learning books for young readers, including the much-loved Pigtales series, with titles such as Atishoo!, Fred’s Friends and Fifteen Pigs on a Pirate Ship. Her books often use playful language, funny characters and simple ideas that children can share with grown-ups. Pat’s work helped make reading feel friendly, lively and full of imagination.
