Stanley is a caveman who does things differently from everyone else. When the other cavemen chase him away, he sets off to find a new place to live. About the author
Syd Hoff was an American author, illustrator and cartoonist who created funny, friendly stories for children learning to read. He wrote and drew more than fifty books, filling them with playful characters, surprising adventures and warm humour. His best-known book is Danny and the Dinosaur, about a boy and his enormous new friend. Children also enjoy his popular stories Sammy the Seal and The Horse in Harry’s Room. Hoff’s simple words and cheerful pictures continue to delight young readers.
