What is The Sleeping Army about?

Freya is spending the night at the British Museum with her father when she discovers the Lewis Chessmen and a mysterious Viking horn. Unable to resist, she blows it and awakens three enchanted chess pieces: Roskva, Alfi and Snot the Berserk. Together, they are summoned to Asgard, where the Viking gods are growing old and weak. Freya must help restore their youth by completing a dangerous quest. If she refuses or fails, she will be transformed into an ivory chess piece forever.
