What is The Queen on Our Corner about?
A young girl sees what everyone else ignores: a woman living on the corner with her dog. To the girl, she is a brave queen who has travelled far and fought many battles. When a fire threatens the neighbourhood, the queen raises the alarm and helps save the street. Determined to thank her, the girl encourages the community to see the woman differently. Together, they discover the importance of kindness, friendship and making sure everyone has somewhere safe to call home.
