What is Mr Bliss about?
Mr Bliss is an eccentric gentleman with very tall hats, a peculiar pet called a Girabbit and a passion for unusual ideas. When he buys a bright yellow motor-car, he sets off to visit his friends, but his first drive soon turns into a muddle of crashes, broken carts and angry neighbours. Matters become even more surprising when three mischievous bears join the adventure. With lively illustrations and playful nonsense, Tolkien’s story follows Mr Bliss through a wonderfully chaotic day.
