What is The Highway Rat Christmas about?

The Highway Rat gallops along the road, stopping travellers and stealing their food. He takes cakes, nuts, bread and even his horse’s hay, leaving everyone hungry and afraid. But when he meets a clever duck, the greedy rat is given a taste of his own medicine. A fast-paced rhyming adventure with lively animal characters, this festive edition follows the Highway Rat’s journey from wicked food thief to someone who finally learns that stealing has consequences.
