What is Frog and the Birdsong about?

One autumn morning, Frog finds a little blackbird lying still in the grass. He runs to his friends, Pig, Hare and Duck, hoping they can help, but soon they realise the bird has died. Together, the animals try to understand what death means. They make a peaceful resting place for the blackbird and remember its beautiful song. Through their sadness, Frog and his friends discover that although life comes to an end, the world is still full of beauty, friendship and hope.
